Note: For warming activation, the U501V requires a WC77V Veterinary Controller with a blue port and the A112 blue Mattress Cable. For return electrode use only, no Controller is required. Simply connect the mattress to a compatible isolated monopolar electrosurgical generator using the A136 green cable. The A138 adapter may also be required for generators that use REM, CQM, or Nessy monitoring.

Description

The HotDog U501V combines active underbody warming with an integrated return electrode to support veterinary surgical procedures in one streamlined platform. It helps maintain normothermia while also providing a return path for monopolar electrosurgery, reducing setup steps and keeping the surgical area more efficient.

Designed for veterinary surgical environments including operating rooms and dental suites, the U501V can be used for warming, grounding, or both at the same time. Unlike traditional adhesive grounding pads, it does not require shaving or conductive gel, and its lightweight, reusable design makes it easier to move, clean, and turn over between cases.

For warming, the U501V connects to the blue port on the WC77V Controller using the A112 blue cable. For grounding, it connects directly to one or two compatible isolated monopolar generators using the A136 or A137 green cables, with the A138 adapter used when required by generator safety monitoring systems.
